Radio International Holidays 2022:
Members of the Team of Radio International have departed on their well-earned summer vacation and a special programming is planned for the next three weeks. Details of what is in the show you see below and all reverts back to normality 12 October 2022 with the start of the National Final Season for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

Eurovision Spotlight XXL - Remixes and Versions: JP has been looking at the vaste music archive of Radio International and found some interesting remixes or different version of Eurovision Song Contest entries. It's a very interesting hour not to be missed. This is just a small selection on the show this week and more to come in the next weeks.

Eurovision Spotlight XXL - Eurovision Experiences: Joining JP in the studio this week is Eurovision Lord Marcus Keppel-Palmer for another great XXL edition of the Eurovision Spotlight. Lord Marcus selected a great number of songs from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest and beyond. Also Marcus will tell us stories he experienced  linked to each of the songs he selected in this particular edition of the Eurovision Spotlight XXL.

Eurovision Birthday File, Coverspot and Spotlight: David Mann in Studio 3 is standing by to present to the listeners the Eurovision Birthday File looking at which artists are celebrating their birthday in this particular week and plays a selection of songs from the birthday kids. Also David presents the Eurovision Cover Spot. Always a nice part of the programme and it surprises. Alasdair Rendall returns this week with the Eurovision Spotlight and continues the series of Double Threes where he picks three songs from two Eurovision member countries - Lithuania and Luxembourg

Also on the show will be lots of new releases by Eurovision Artists. Enjoy the first of three summer specials.

Live Interview with James Fox:  In 2004, the United Kingdom was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest by a young gentleman from Wales - James Fox. The song "Hold on to our love" came 16th in the contest that was staged in Istanbul, Turkey. John and JP from Radio International will be chatting with James about his career past and present and also his participation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 and his time in Istanbul. But also what he is doing nowadays and what is planned in his musical future. 

Eurovision Spotlight XXL:  John Dawton's Favourite Eurovision Top Ten: Radio International's Interview Guru John Dawton will be joining JP for an hour to present his ten favourite Eurovision Song Contest entries. John has a very special taste on music and especially in entries to the Eurovision Song Contest which he would like to share with the listeners on this week's edition of Radio International.

Eurovision Birthday File, Coverspot and Spotlight: David Mann in Studio 3 is standing by to present to the listeners the Eurovision Birthday File looking at which artists are celebrating their birthday in this particular week and plays a selection of songs from the birthday kids. Interview Session with the Maltese Eurovision Legends Debbie Scerri (Malta 1997) and Kurt Calleja (Malta 2012): Earlier on this year, in February, Malta selected their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 but part of the show was also The Maltese Legends at the Eurovision Song Contest celebrating all the 50 entries of Malta to the contest. Radio International's JP was in Malta and interviewed some of the Maltese Eurovision Legends. This week listen to an interview with Debbie Scerri who represented Malta in 1997 with the song "Let me fly" that came 9th. The other Eurovision Legend from Malta on the show is Kurt Calleja who performed "This is the night" at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 from Baku, Azerbaijan with the song "This is the night" coming 21st. Also Kurt won the 2022 edition of Malta's Muzika Muzika with the song "Bla Tarf" celebrting the Maltese Song.

Eurovision Song Contest 2022: After two Semi Finals and an amazing Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 huge CONGRATULATIONS goes to the Kalush Orchestra for winning the 66th Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Stefania" receiving the highest public vote ever in the history of the contest.
