Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 0059 hours CET. The show is broadcast live on Wednesday evenings from 1900 - 2300 hours CET on the Eurovision Radio International Mixcloud Channel as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International with an interactive chatroom.

Eurovision Winner 2011 Edar Gasimov for Azerbaijan  at the OGAE Germany Convention 2026

Interview with Eurovision Winner Edar Gasimov (Azerbaijan 2011):  The Eurovision Song Contest 2011 came from Düsseldorf in Germany with Azerbaijan winning the contest with El (Eldar) & Nikki from Azerbaijan with the song "Running Scared". The following year he co-hosted the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest for which he trained for in Germany. Besides of that he speaks fluently German. Eldar was part of the OGAE Germany's Convention 2026 in January in Munich, Germany. JP and Salman had the pleasure to chat with Eldar about his Eurovision adventure and about his career. Satoshi (Moldova 2026) with JP

Interview with Satoshi (Moldova 2026):  After a year's break Moldova came back with a bundle of energy to the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with Satoshi and the song "Viva Moldova" which in fact opened up the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 being the first song in Semi Final 1. Part of Satoshi's performance was also previous Eurovision entrant Aliona Moon who in 2013 reached Number 11 with the song "O Mie". The Radio International Interview Team met Satoshi at the Turquoise Carpet of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna for a quick chat which you can hear on the show this week. 

 

 

Silke (Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2026) at MelFstWknd 2026

Interview with Silke (Norsk MGP 2026): As part of the Melodifestivalen Grand Final Weekend 2026 in Stockholm, Sweden, the Swedish Eurovision Fanclub organise the annual MelFstWknd with a number of Swedish and international Eurovision artists performing for the many fans that have arrived the the Swedish capital. This year Silke was one of the international acts who was invited to perform her entry she competed with in Norway's National Final the Norsk Melodi Grand Prixin the  Number 9 at MelFstWknd 2026

 

 

AleXa  (Winner of the American Song Contest 2022 for Oklahoma  and participant at Melodifestivalen 2026 at MelFstWknd

 

 

Interview with AleXa (Melodifestivalen 2026, Heat 5 & Winner of the American Song Contest 2022 - Oklahoma):  Also at the MelFstWknd 2026 was AleAa who competed in Melodifestivalen 2026 in Heat 5 with the song "Tongue Tied" and she won the American Song Contest 2022 with the song "Wonderland" represeting the US State Oklahoma. JP had a big pleasure chatting with AleXa which will be shared on this week's edition of Radio International. 

 

 

The Eurovision Spotlight - The Magic Letter Game: As summer has officially arrived on the northern hemisphere of the globe it means that it is also time for the summer feature for the next few weeks. The summer feature is the Magic Letter Game involving Eurovision Songs which you will be presented by the Radio International Team of Experts :). Alisdair Rendall continues the summer series with Letter J and will explain the Rules of the Game.

Ela of Elaiza (Germany 2014) with JP  at the OGAE Germany Convention 2026

Interview with Ela of Elaiza (Germany 2016):  The Eurovision Song Contest 2014 came from the shipyard in Copenhagen, Denmark. Germany was represented by a group of young girls called Elaiza who performed the song "Is it right" which came 18th in the Grand Final after the Voting Sequence. Ela was part of the OGAE Germany's Convention 2026 in Jan 2026 in Munich, Germany. JP and Salman had the pleasure to chat with Ela about her Eurovision adventure and about her career. Kurt Anthony and Team at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026

 

Interview with Kurt Anthony (MESC 2026): The Malta Eurovision Song Contest is the National Final to select that song that will be representing Malta at the Eurovision Song Contetest. The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 was hosted hosted by Keane Cutajar, Destiny Chukunyere (who won Junior Eurovision 2015 and represented Malta in Eurovision 2021) and Gaia Cauchi (who won Junior Eurovision 2013). The Semi Final with 18 artists took place on Thursday, 15 Jan 2026 followed by the Grand Final on Saturday, 17 Jan 2026 from MFCC (Malta Fairs and Convention Centre). Aidan won the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song "Bella" and represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria coming 18th.

ESSYLA (Belgium 2026)

Interview with ESSYLA (Belgium 2026): Belgium has been part of the Eurovision Song Contest since the very beginning in 1956 only missing out participation for three times. In 2026, ESSYLA represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Dancing on the Ice" successfully qualifying Belgium to the Grand Final reaching Number 21. The Radio International colleague Alain Forrotti had the pleasure to meet ESSYLA for an interview during the rehearsal week of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria. Zoe (Austria 2016) - at OGAE Germany 2026 Convention

Interview with Zoe (Austria 2016):  The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 came from Sweden's Capital Stockholm and the venue was the Ericsson Globe. Austria was represented by a young Zoe who performed the song "Loin d'ici" which came 13th in the Grand Final after the Voting Sequence. Ten years later OGAE Germany invited Zoe to the annual convention where she performed a concert and of course chatted about her time at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. The Radio International Interview Team were on location to conduct an interview Zoe and this will be broadcast on the show this week. Enjoy!

Klavdia (Greece 2025) with JP at LondonHagen 2026

Interview with Klavdia (Greece 2025):  Earlier on in Apr 2026 the LondonHagen Event took place with the participation of many artists from the Eurovision Song Contest and national finals. Radio International has already broadcast many of them but there are a few more in the archive.
