During the Corona Lockdown the Team of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience thought of easing the tough times with two additional Eurovision radio shows on Saturdays and Sundays. The shows are called The Eurovision Lockdown with the idea to entertain the listeners and fans with lots of Eurovision music of the 65 year history of the Eurovision Song Contest plus new music the Eurovision artists have released after their performance in the contest and most of all also the music requests of the listeners and fans.
First Hour: JP will start in the first hour with some Eurovision Classics, your listener's requests and new material of Eurovision artists that have reached the Radio International Tower of Eurovision Power.
Second Hour: JP is joined by Radio International's Alasdair Rendall from London to take a look at some of the 90s Newcomers to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Third Hour: Ratio International's Ross Bennett will be rejoining JP also today for ten Eurovision songs that a themed with Farewell and Goodbyes.
Want to join and co-present with JP?: Also fans can actively take part in the show to join JP and his team in the studio via a SKYPE phone call live on air to talk about their thoughts and request their favourite song which does not need to be a Eurovision song.

Second Hour: Then in the second hours JP is joined by Eurovision Lordship Marcus Keppel-Palmer from Bristol, United Kingdom via SKYPE to co-present a set of Ten Eurovision songs connected to Water such as Ships, Sea, Sailor or Rivers.
Third Hour: Radio International's Ross Bennett joins JP on the show this week via SKYPE to look back at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003. Ross takes a pick of ten songs from that particular Eurovision Song Contest that come from the Skonto Hall of Riga in Latvia.
Fans can actively take part in the show to join JP and his team in the studio via a SKYPE phone call live on air to talk about their thoughts and request their favourite song which does not need to be a Eurovision song.
The next show will take place on Sunday, 10 May 2020 live via Castlepoint FM in the United Kingdom but available also via the Radio International Facebook Group "Eurovision Radio International" where you can find the chatroom. Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 2359 hours CET. The show is also broadcast on Castlepoint FM in the United Kingdom live on Wednesday evenings from 2000 - 2300 hours CET as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International with an interactive chatroom.
Interview with Magdalena Tul (Poland 2011): The Municipality of Setubal in Portugal every year arrange for a great Eurovision event in the the centre of the city inviting many international and national Eurovision artists for the Eurovision Live Concert. This was also the case at the most recent one in September 2019. Amongst the invited guests was also Magdalena Tul who represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Jestem" which unfortunately only ened up at Number 19 in her Semi Final in Duesseldorf. However, a very talented charming singer Magdalena enjoys the world of the Eurovision Song Contest and entertained the many fans at this event. During the soundcheck Radio International's JP conducted an interview backstage with the singer. You can hear this interview during the show this week. Enjoy!

Second Hour: JP is joined by Robert Wahlstroem from Gothenburg in Sweden via SKYPE to present a number of his favourite song from Albania's Festival i Kengis.
Third Hour: To continue the theme to celebrate the year 2020 Radio International's Alasdair Rendall will be re-joining JP via SKYPE from London to continue with co-presenting another set of Ten Eurovision songs that ended up at position Number 20 after the Grand Final voting in the Eurovision Song Contest. Ready for a laugh with Ross? :)
