Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 2359 hours CET. The show is also broadcast on Castlepoint FM in the United Kingdom live on Wednesday evenings from 2000 - 2300 hours CET as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International with an interactive chatroom.
Interview with Adelaide Ferreira (Portugal 1985): The Municipality of Setubal in Portugal every year arrange for a great Eurovision event in the the centre of the city inviting many international and national Eurovision artists for the Eurovision Live Concert. This was also the case at the most recent one in September 2019. Amongst the invited guests was also Adelaide Ferreira who initially was a Rock Singer and later on singing ballads. She represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in Gothenburg, Sweden with the song "Penso em ti, eu sei" which reached Number 18.
Radio International's JP had the pleasure to chat with the singer and actress during her soundcheck for the event backstage. Enjoy meeting the bubbly singer.
During the live show on Wednesday evening (2000 - 2300 hours CET) we enjoyed a very active chatroom resulting that many requests were also played on the show this week.

During the Corona Lockdown the Team of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience thought of easing the tough times with two additional Eurovision radio shows on Saturdays and Sundays. The shows are called The Eurovision Lockdown with the idea to entertain the listeners and fans with lots of Eurovision music of the 65 year history of the Eurovision Song Contest plus new music the Eurovision artists have released after their performance in the contest and most of all also the music requests of the listeners and fans.
First Hour: JP will start in the first hour with some Eurovision Classics, your listener's requests and new material of Eurovision artists that have reached the Radio International Tower of Eurovision Power.
Second Hour: JP is re-joined by Javier Leal from Montreal in Canada to present to us the Pregnant Eurovision Ladies at the Eurovision Song Contest. In fact there were ten and you hear their songs in this particular Eurovision hour.
Third Hour: For the third hour JP will be joined by Radio International's Ross Bennett for another part in the series of Celebrating the year 2020 - Eurovision songs starting from Number 20.
Want to join and co-present with JP?: Also fans can actively take part in the show to join JP and his team in the studio via a SKYPE phone call live on air to talk about their thoughts and request their favourite song which does not need to be a Eurovision song.

First Hour: JP will start in the first hour with some Eurovision Classics, your listener's requests and new material of Eurovision artists that have reached the Radio International Tower of Eurovision Power.
Second Hour: Then in the second hours JP is again joined by Radio International's Chris Poppe from the United Kingdom via SKYPE to co-present another set of Ten great songs that never made it out of their National Final to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Third Hour: Radio International is extremely happy to welcome as a guest co-presenter Ciaran Tuttiet who will be joining JP on the show this week via SKYPE to present his Ciaran's Eurovision Top Ten songs of all time which for Ciaran was a very difficult job to do. :). Ciaran hosts a weekly one hour Eurovision radio show on Forest FM called "The Eurovision Show Case" every Sunday. Fans can actively take part in the show to join JP and his team in the studio via a SKYPE phone call live on air to talk about their thoughts and request their favourite song which does not need to be a Eurovision song.

Interview with Lill Lindfors (Sweden 1966): In 2020, Swedish Television SVT inaugurated the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame which was inserted as a special part in the Melodifestivalen 2020 Second Chance show which took place in Eskilstuna, Sweden on Saturday 29 February 2020. Many previous Melodifestivalen participants took part and were inducted into the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame. This included Lill Lindfors who together with Svante Thuresson came second for Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 with the song "Nygammal vals eller hip man svinaherde". Internationally, Lill became famous for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 with a lot of humour and charme and she is remembered for the gimmick of loosing parts of her dress while walking on stage as well as for her opening song "Musik ska byggas ut av glädje" It was a big ambition for Radio International's JP to meet Lill Lindfors for an interviews which did happen during the rehearsal of Melodifestivalen 2020 Hall of Fame. Enjoy this interview with a very charming Grande Dame from Sweden.

Third Hour - Ralph Siegel Special: From Berlin in Germany Matthias Breitinger will be rejoining JP today for a special on German music composer and song writer well known for his many entries to the Eurovision Song Contest. He wrote Germany's winning song "Ein bisschen Frieden" performed by Nicole in 1982. Matthias picked ten great songs Ralph has written over the years. Enjoy the show this week.
