Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 2359 hours CET. The show is also broadcast on Castlepoint FM in the United Kingdom live on Wednesday evenings from 2000 - 2300 hours CET as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International with an interactive chatroom.

Live Interview with Franklin Calleja Johnston (Malta Eurovision Song Contest Finalist): In the Corona series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals.

This week Radio International's Interview Team JP, David Mann, Sadie Trent and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE by Franklin Calleja Johnston from sunny Malta. Franklin has been taking part in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest since 2013 until 2017 with great results reaching a high of Number 3 in 2016 with the song "Little Love". Then Eurovision Winner 2009 Alexander Rybak from Norway believed in Franklin and wrote him the song "Still here" which came 5th in the Maltese National Final.

In 2018, Franklin entered the National Final of San Marino which was won by fellow Maltese Jessika who then represented San Marino at Eurovision 2018. Franklin reached 5th place with the song "Stay".

Malta's Broadcaster PBS then decided to make the X-Factor Winner represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 and 2020 and Franklin took part in the the X-Factor competition 2019 but unluckily was eliminated in the final stages of the competition. Now Franklin wants to revitalise his music career and let's get an update from Franklin on the show this week.

During the live show on Wednesday evening (2000 - 2300 hours CET) we enjoyed a very active chatroom resulting that many requests were also played on the show this week.

Besides of the four hour long weekly edition of Europe's favourite Eurovision Radio show there is a new two hours oldies show with music from across the decades from the 50s to the 2010s hosted by JP from Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience. All kinds of music is possible and also your requests are welcome.

Live Interview with Katrina Leskanich of Katrina and the Waves (Eurovision Winner 1997, United Kingdom): In the series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals.

This week Radio International's JP, Sadie Trent and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE by Eurovision Winner Katrina Leskanich who in 1997 won the Eurovision Song Contest with "Love shine a light" together with her band The Waves.

Prior to winning Eurovision Katrina and the Waves had a Smash Hit all around the world in in 1985 called "Walking on Sunshine". Let's get an update from Katrina on the show this week.

Interview with Ira Losco (Malta 2002 and 2016): In the summer series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals. This week Radio International's JP, Sadie Trent and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE by one of Malta's finest and most successful singers - Ira Losco. Malta only reached the Eurovision Runners Up position of Number 2 twice with Chiara in 2005 and the song "Angel" and in 2002 with Ira Losco and the song "7th Wonder". In 2016 Ira returned to the Eurovision Song Contest from Stockholm's legendary Globen Arena where she performed the song "Walk on Water" which came 12th. In the meantime Ira fronted the Maltese X-Factor Jury twice and selected Destiny to represent Malta at the 2020 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest which unfortunately was cancelled due to the Corona Pandemic. However, Destiny will represent Malta in 2021. Let's get an update from Ira Losco on the show this week. We are very much looking forward to having Ira Losco on the show for a chat.
