Live Interview with Eurovision Esther Hart (The Netherlands 2003): Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is extremely delighted to welcome to the airwaves of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience a Professor of Music. Esther Hart represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga, Latvia with the song "One More Night" coming 13th at the end of the voting sequence on the night. The extraordinary thing is that Esther also had submitted a song into the British Song for Eurovision selection in 2003 but then had to decide for which country she wanted to compete for. Luckily, she went for the Netherlands as she won the national final and the ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest. In the national final in the United Kingdom Esther only reached 4th place with her entry "Wait for the moment".
Esther is one of the rare Dutch artists that has kept in the spotlight over the years in the international fan community and has been invited to many fan club events across Europe. She felt that there was a lack of Eurovision events in the Netherlands so together with her friend Judith they created the event "J'aime la Vlie" which is a three day Eurovision event on the Dutch Wadden Island Vlieland. The next edition is scheduled to take place 10 - 12 September 2021. Details of the event and booking of tickets can be found at the website of J'aime la Vlie. www.jaimelavlie.nl
Radio International is extremely happy to welcome Esther back on the show live and we are looking forward to all the lovely stories that Esther can tell us during her Eurovision career.
