Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 0059 hours CET. The show is broadcast live on Wednesday evenings from 1900 - 2300 hours CET on the Eurovision Radio International Mixcloud Channel as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International with an interactive chatroom.

Malta's Eurovision Legends: Claudette Pace, Julie, Kurt Calleja, Moira Delia (Host),  Aidan, Moira Strafaze, Ludwig Galea, Olivia Lewis

 

Interviews with the Eurovision Legends of Malta:  On 10 Jan 2026 the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 took place earlier in the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC) in Ta'Qali, Malta. Aidan won this contest and represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna with the song "Bella" coming 18th. In the afternoon of the Grand Final in Malta a Red Carpet Media Event took place and former Maltese Eurovision personalities also appeared and Radio International's JP took the chance and have chats with as many of the Maltese Eurovision Legends such as Claudette Pace (Malta 2000) - "Desire", Julie and Ludwig (Malta 2004) "On again...Off again", Moira of Chris and Moira (Malta 1994) "More than Love", Kurt Calleja (Malta 2012) "This is the Night", Olivia Lewis (Malta 2007) "Vertigo", Aidan (Malta 2026) and Show Host Moira Delia, just to mention a few. Last week Radio International broadcast the interviews with Aidan, Claudette Pace, Julie and Ludwig and Moira of Chris and Moira. Eurovision Weekend 2026 - The FanVision Song Contest:  Last weekend 17 - 19 Jul 2026 the Eurovision Weekend 2026 happened in the Bavarian City of Munich in Germany with 14 delegations from the OGAE Network flew in to take part at the FanVision Song Contest 2026 which is just like the Eurovision Song Contest with songs competing for the trophy and the right to host the following Eurovision Weekend. This year the Victory went to the delegation from Poland and their act called United by Gyros and their interpretation of the song that came 6th for Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 called "Alcohol is free" performed by Koza Mostra feat. Agathonas Iakovidis. Below see the results of the FanVision Song Contest 2026.

Radio International was on location in Munich and had the pleasure to chat to the three artists who form United by Gyros and won for OGAE Poland the FanVision Song Contest 2026. Listen to the interview on the show this week. 

 

 

The Eurovision Spotlight - The Magic Letter Game: As summer has officially arrived on the northern hemisphere of the globe it means that it is also time for the summer feature for the next few weeks. The summer feature is the Magic Letter Game involving Eurovision Songs which you will be presented by the Radio International Team of Experts :). Chris Poppe continues the summer series with Letter E and will explain the Rules of the Game. :)  

 

Eurovision News, New Song Releases, Birthday File, Coverspot, Eurovision Calendar: Also JP will be joined by David Mann for the Eurovision Birthday File and Eurovision Coverspot.  Javier stands in for Nick and will be presenting the Eurovision News courtesy of escXtra.com. Bonnie Tyler  (08 Jun 1951 - 07 Jul 2026)

 

Tribute to Bonnie Tyler (United Kingdom 2013):  Shortly after last week's edition of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience came off air on 08 Jul 2026 the Eurovision Community received the sad news that Bonnie Tyler suddenly passed away after a short illness while in Portugal. Bonnie Tyler represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 coming 19th with the song "Believe in me". 
Bonnie Tyler had six hits that made the Top 40 charts in the UK and around the world, such as "Lost in France" (9, 1976), "More than a Lover" (27, 1977), "It's a Heartache" (4, 1977), "Married Men" (35, 1979) and "Holding out for a Hero" (2, 1985) among others. But her biggest worldwide hit was "Total Eclipse of the Heart" which reached Number 1 in Feb 1983 which even was covered by Eurovision Royalty Dame Nicki French in 1995 when her cover of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" came 5th in the UK Charts. Nicki French represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000 with the song "Don't play that song again" coming 16th.

Due to the sad news of Bonnie's passing away Radio International broadcasts a special tribute on the show this week showcasing her amazing career including her time at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Daniel Zizka (Czechia 2026) with Johannes

 

Interview with Daniel Zizka (Czechia 2026): Czechia or in that time still called The Czech Republic debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 with their best result in 2018 when Mikolas Josef came 6th with the song "Lie to me". Czechia took part 15 times in only six qualifications for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2026, Czechia sent in young Daniel Zizka who very powerful performed the song "Crossroads" reaching Number 16 in the Grand Final. Radio International's Newsman Johannes had the pleasure in meeting Daniel for an interview which you can hear on the show this week. 

 

 

Satoshi (Moldova 2026) with JP

Interview with Satoshi (Moldova 2026):  After a year's break Moldova came back with a bundle of energy to the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with Satoshi and the song "Viva Moldova" which in fact opened up the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 being the first song in Semi Final , successfully qualified for the Grand Final where it ended up at Number 8 with 226 points. Alain Forrotti had the pleasure of meeting Satoshi during the first rehearsal week in Vienna, Austria and interviewed the singer which you can hear on the show this week.
