Interview with Wenche Myhre (Germany 1968): At the recent edition of OGAE Germany's Eurovision Gala in Munich on 08 Oct 2022 with the participation of Izhar Cohen (eurovision Winner 1978, Israel), Emilija Kokic from the Eurovision Winning Group Riva (Yugoslavia 1989), Laura (Estonia 2017), Bianca Shomburg (Germany 1997) and from Norway Wenche Myhre who represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 1968 with the song "Ein Hoch der Liebe" which came 6th in the Grand Final. Radio International'sRowing Reporters Marc and Salman were at the event and conducted interviews with the Eurovision artist. This week enjoy the interview with Wenche Myhre who is not only a singer but also a comedian and actress among others.
The Home Composed Song Contest 2022: The annual music competition for non-professional musicians takes place again and is already in full swing. The public can cast their vote as well as all is explained on the website of the Home Composed Song Contest 2022 - click here.
The Home Composed Song Contest is in its 31st year, this is a competition for Eurovision fans who write, perform and produce their own music, who enter their own original song composition (audio only) and then also take part as a jury, to help choose the winning song. This year there are 24 songs from 13 different European countries, and you can listen to the songs, and read the lyrics and bios on the official website.
Each of the contestants also takes part as a jury, along with four guest juries and a public vote. Each vote contributes one of of 29 equal rounds of voting. The public vote commences on 13 October and closes on 31 October. Contestants and members of the public can take part in the public vote, casting a vote for as many songs as they like, once a day until the closing date. The Radio International Team will form one Jury and you will be able to hear the songs also during the weekly editions of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience.
The Grand Final will be presented on youtube on Saturday 12 November 2022.
On last week's edition of Radio International you could hear the first eight songs of the Home Componsed Song Contest 2022. This week will be the second lot of eight songs and next week the remaining eight songs.

Interview with Malta's Eurovision Legend - Miriam Christine (Malta 1996): Earlier on this year, in February, Malta selected their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 but part of the show was also The Maltese Legends at the Eurovision Song Contest celebrating all the 50 entries of Malta to the contest. Radio International's JP was in Malta and interviewed some of the Maltese Eurovision Legends. This week listen to an interview with Miriam Christine done backstage, who represented Malta in 1996 with the song "In a woman's heart" that came 10th.
