Interview with Krystian Ochman  (Poland 2022): As the National Final Season to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is well underway with most of the participating countries already having select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 Radio International's rowing reporter and interviewer Salman Tanzem has been at the National Final in Poland "Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję".  Listen to interviews that Salman did with the Top 2 of the national selection show in Poland Krystian Ochman and Daria (the runner up). Ochman will be Poland's Representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Torino, Italy in Semi Final 2 Second Half with the song "River". 

 

 

The Eurovision Song Contest 2022 takes place on 10, 12 and 14 May 2022 with the two Semi Finals and the Grand Final

Interview with Ell and Nikki (Eurovision Winner 2011, Azerbaijan), Kasia Mos (Poland 2017) and Sarah James (Junior Eurovision 2021, Poland):  Also being part in the National Final 2022 in Poland were Ell and Nikki who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 for Azerbaijan with the song  "Running Scared". And former Polish Eurovision representative for Poland in 2017, Kasia Mos appeared in the show. Kasia qualified Poland for the Grand Final in 2017 with the song "Flashlight" coming 22nd. And last but not least Sarah James who came 2nd for Poland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Somebody". Salman chatted to all the singers after the show and Radio International is delighted to broadcast the interviews on the show this week. 

 

 

 

 

 

Sweden's Melodifestivalen 2022 Grand Final: After four Heats and a Semi Final the 12 songs in Sweden's Melodifestivalen 2022 are now known and  Robert Wahlstroem will be rejoining JP in the studio to introduce the line up of Melodifestivalen 2022 Grand Final. The Winner of this Grand Final will be the act and the song representing Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy come May. The Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2022 will be broadcast by Swedish Broadcaster SVT on Saturday, 12 March 2022.

Live Interview with Citi Zeni (Latvia 2022): As the National Final Season to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is well underway with Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Slovenia and Spain already having select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Torino, Italy to take place on 10, 12 and 14 May 2022 with the two Semi Finals and the Grand Final, Radio International is reaching out for the artists that are going to be on that Eurovision stage representing their country in May.

This week's guest on the show is Citi Zeni singing "Eat your salad" representing Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Semi Final 1 First Half. Get to know the members of Citi Zeni on the show this week as Citi Zeni will be joining the Radio International Interview Team as well as listening to some of their music during the interview.

Germany 12 Points - Unser Song für Turin:  The German National Final to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will be taking place on Friday, 04 March 2022 with the participation of six acts of which three will be part of this week's edition of Radio International for an interview. The Winner of the six acts will be representing Germany in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 14 May 2022. Joining us for this interview session will be Felicia Lu, Mael and Jonas and Malik Harris. Good Luck and may the best song win.

Eurovision Spotlight Special:  Italy's San Remo Song Festival 2022: Italy selects their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest with the prestigious San Remo Song Festival which this year was won by Mahmood and Blanco with the song "Brividi" which will be Italy's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 on home ground on 14 May 2022.
Mahmood previously won the San Remo Song Festival in 2019 and represented Italy with the song "Soldi" coming second after Duncan Laurence who won for The Netherlands with "Arcade".
Radio International's Dermot Manning will be presenting a Eurovision Spotlight Special on the San Remo Song Festival 2022, introducing some highlights.
