The Team of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience thought of easing the tough times with two additional Eurovision radio shows on Saturdays and Sundays. The idea is to entertain the listeners and fans with lots of Eurovision music of the 66 year history of the Eurovision Song Contest plus new music the Eurovision artists have released after their performance in the contest and most of all also the music requests of the listeners and fans.
In the last series from March till June 2020 the show became popular and fans joined JP and the Radio International Team to present themed hours. We would like to continue on this in the second series. Fans can actively take part in the show to join JP and his team in the studio via a SKYPE phone call live on air to talk about their thoughts and request their favourite song which does not need to be a Eurovision song.
The shows are live via Castlepoint FM and Run FM in the United Kingdom but available also via the Radio International Facebook Group "Eurovision Radio International" where you can find the chatroom. Join the Eurovision Fan Community listening to the shows and chat with the fans three hours every Saturday and Sunday. The Wednesday editions of the show remains the same as always.
THE HAPPY EUROVISION HOUR: JP will start in the first hour with some Eurovision Classics, your listener's requests and new material of Eurovision artists that have reached the Radio International Tower of Eurovision Power. Also revisiting a Eurovision Song Contest and plays five songs from a particular Eurovision Year.
Second Hour:
EUROVISION SPOTLIGHT XXL: My Eurovision Top Ten: The series continues where Eurovision personalities are co-hosting an hour with JP together and to present their ten most favourite songs from the Eurovision Song Contest, this week JP is joined by the great Nicki French from the United Kingdom. Nicki represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm, Sweden with the song "Don't play that song again". We are thrilled to find out how Nicki's Top Ten of the Eurovision Song Contest looks like.
Third Hour:
EUROVISION 2021: Since it is the National Final Season to the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 which will take place in Rotterdam's Ahoy May 18, 20 and 22 there is now plenty of time at hand to introduce to the fans the songs from various countries' selection process'. Robert Wahlström from Gothenburg in Sweden has been appearing on the show that last five weeks to present the competing songs per Semi Final in Norway's Melodi Grand Prix for 2021. With last Monday's Wildcard entry the lineup for the Grand Final of Melodi Grand Prix is complete for a great show scheduled for Saturday, 20 Feb 2021 on NRK (Norway's TV). Also this week JP will be joined by Robert to introduce the songs for Norway's Melodi Grand Prix 2021 Grand Final the winner of which will represent Norway at Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands later on in May.

Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 0059 hours CET. The show is also broadcast on Castlepoint FM in the United Kingdom live on Wednesday evenings from 1900 - 2300 hours CET as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International with an interactive chatroom.

Live Interview with Hera Björk (Iceland): In the Corona series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals. Since Jun 2020 we had an incredible success with having a number a great artists sharing an hour with Radio International's Interview Team and the fans. See below the Radio International Interview Hall of Fame 2020.

This week Radio International's Interview Team JP, Sadie Trent and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE by Hera Björk who represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Je ne sais pas" coming 19th in the Grand Final in Oso, Norway.
Hera, besides being an huge artist in her own rights she has also supported previous Icelandic Eurovision entries as backing vocalist and vocal coach. In 2013, she won the Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2013 in the Best Song Category with the song "Because you can". She come second in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2009 with the song "Someday" as she tried her luck to represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest, although Niels Brinck won and represented Denmark in 2009 with "Believe Again".
The Interview Team of Radio International is very much looking forward to having Hera Björk on the show for the interview hour.

Live Interview with Anton Ewald (Melodifestivalen 2013, 2014 and 2021): Besides Hera Björk joining us live from Iceland on the show this week we will also have the great pleasure of welcoming to the show one of Sweden's best singers and dancers in Melodifestivalen and beyond - Anton Ewald. Anton successfully qualified for the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2021 on Saturday 13 Feb 2021 with the song "New Religion". He is not new to Melodifestivalen as became a backing dancer for Velvet, Andreas Lundstedt and Danny Saucedo on "Amazing" in 2012. In 2013 he entered as lead artist with the song "Beggin'" which came 4th and in 2014 with the song "Natural" coming 10th in the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen. JP will be joined by Salman from Germany to conduct the interview together with the Swedish Singer and Dancer and Radio International is looking forward to find out more from Anton Ewald.

Due to Corona Pandemic that hit the Earth in 2020 and still forces countries to a total lockdown Radio International starts the second series of the EUROVISION LOCKDOWN which are two extra live shows of Eurovision madness on Saturdays and Sundays for the time of the Corona Lockdown in the United Kingdom starting on Saturday 09 January 2021.

First Hour:
The Happy Eurovision Hour. JP will start in the first hour with some Eurovision Classics, your listener's requests and new material of Eurovision artists that have reached the Radio International Tower of Eurovision Power. Also revisiting a Eurovision Song Contest and play five songs from a particular year.
Second Hour:
Eurovision Spotlight XXL: The History of Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest (Part 1) with Dermot Manning. Finland has a great history being part at the contest since 1961. On the Eurovision Lockdown this week Dermot will present Part 1 of 2 and starts with the earlier years. Let's flash back into some Finish nostalgia at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Third Hour:
My Eurovision Top Ten: Eurovision entries in their country's language in the last decade. Marc Gehring rejoins JP via SKYPE for an hour of entries to the Eurovision Song Contest that are performed in the language of the country or another language but English. Marc ranked the songs for the last decade into a Top Ten of the choice. Let's see what Marc's Top Ten looks like.
Fourth Hour:
Eurovision 2021 - Denmark: Our Canadian Eurovision Connoisseur Javier Leal will rejoin JP to take a look at the eight songs competing in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2021 which is the national selection process of Denmark to the Eurovision Song Contest. Last year Ben and Tan won the ticket to Eurovision 2020 which unfortunately was cancelled due to the Corona Pandemic. A new year and a new selection and Javier also ranked the songs to a Top 8. Let's see how right he is in his prediction which song would win the national final in Denmark and goes to Rotterdam later on in May 2021.
